Master Chief Holliday was a native of Durango, Mexico.  She graduated from Grover Cleveland High School, Reseda, California in June 1994.  She entered the United States Navy as a Seaman Recruit and began Basic Training in Great Lakes, Illinois in June 1995.  She completed Aviation Boatswain's Mate - Handling (ABH) "A" school at Naval Training Center, Millington, Tennessee in October 1995.
 
Holliday’s first duty station was Naval Support Activity, in Naples, Italy, where she was assigned to the Operations Department as T-Line Ramp Supervisor.  In 1998 she promoted to Petty Officer Third Class. She then transferred to USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74), homeported in San Diego, CA, and was assigned to V-1 Division. Holliday’s next assignment was Naval Air Station North Island, where she was assigned to the Operations Department and promoted to Petty Officer Second Class.
 
In 2000 she reported to Naval Medical Center San Diego, assigned to the Security Department as Emergency Dispatcher/Military Police Officer and as Assistant to the Command Career Counselor. In 2003 she converted to the Navy Counselor rate and promoted to Petty Officer First Class.
 
Holliday then transferred to USS HOWARD (DDG 83), homeported in San Diego, CA, as Command Career Counselor and Leading Petty Officer of Executive Department. In 2006 she was selected for Chief Petty Officer. While aboard HOWARD, she completed cruises in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
 
In 2008 she reported to Navy Region Southwest as the Region Career Counselor. In 2009 she was selected for Senior Chief Petty Officer.  In 2012 she transferred to Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group THREE as the Command Career Counselor, where she was selected for Master Chief Petty Officer.
 
In 2014, while assigned to Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group THREE, she was selected to be part of the Command Master Chief program. She has served as the Command Master Chief for USS WAYNE E. MEYER (DDG 108), USS NEW ORLEANS (LPD 18), and USS BOXER (LHD 4).  
 
She is currently serving as the Command Master Chief for Commander, Carrier Strike Group NINE homeported in San Diego, CA.
 
Master Chief Holliday is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Course (Class 183, Gray) and Navy Leadership and Ethics Center CMC/COB Course (Class 137).
 
Master Chief Holliday has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (7 awards), and various campaign and unit decorations. She is authorized to wear the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, and Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist breast insignias.
