A native of San Antonio, Texas, LCDR DuParc graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. He also earned a Master’s Degree from UNC Pembroke in 2006 in Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice.
 
LCDR DuParc Enlisted in the Navy in 2008 in the SEAL program. He later became an Aviation Search and Rescue (SAR) Swimmer. He was selected for Officer Candidate School (OCS) and earned his commission in 2010. His first sea assignment was aboard USS GETTYSBURG (CG 64) where he served as the Auxiliaries Officer (AUXO) and Combat Information Center Officer (CICO). While on GETTYSBURG, he participated in Operations NEW DAWN and ENDURING FREEDOM, and deployed to C6F/C5F as the Air Defense Commander in support of GEORGE H. W. BUSH (CVN 77) Carrier Strike Group’s maiden deployment. In April 2013, he reported to USS ROSS (DDG 71) as the Fire Control Officer (FCO) and conducted a home port shift to Rota, Spain along with ROSS’s first FDNF-E patrol throughout the Mediterranean and Black Sea.
 
Ashore, he served at Command Operational Test and Evaluation Force (COMOPTEVFOR) as an Operational Test Director (OTD) in charge of Ballistic Missile Defense with Baseline’s 4, 5, 9B and 9C as well as SM3 and SM6 missiles and Aegis Ashore Romania and Poland.  As a Department Head, he served as the Weapons Officer aboard USS GRAVELY (DDG 107) and deployed to C6F AOR as the Standing NATO Maritime Group One (SNMG-1) Flag Ship. He most recently served as the Executive Officer on USS WARRIOR (MCM 10).

LCDR DuParc’s personal awards include a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2nd award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3rd award), and multiple unit and service awards.
