A 2005 graduate of the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program from the University of Pennsylvania, Commander Antonucci earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Drexel University.  Additionally, he graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School earning a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management.  He is originally from Toms River, New Jersey.

A career surface warfare officer, Commander Antonucci’s shipboard assignments include: USS McFAUL (DDG 74) as Electrical, Auxiliary and Turbines Officer, USS HOPPER (DDG 70) as Fire Control Officer, and USS McCAMPBELL  (DDG 85) as Engineer Officer.  Ashore, he served as Operations Officer attached to the Counter-Rocket Artillery Mortar (C-RAM) unit in Balad, Iraq, Staff Instructor at SWOS Newport, Staff Director onboard DESTROYER SQUADRON TWO EIGHT, N4 Materiel Officer onboard COMMANDER CARRIER STRIKE GROUP ELEVEN, and Project Officer attached to ENGINEERING ASSESSMENTS ATLANTIC (EAA).  Most Recently, he served as Executive Officer onboard USS NORMANDY (CG 60).

His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal and various unit, campaign, and service awards.
