Command Master Chief Robles, a native of Dallas, Texas, enlisted in the United States Navy in November 1996. Following basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Engineering Common Core School and Interior Communications “A” School. Upon reporting to Engineering Department aboard USS Wasp (LHD 1), he converted rates to Damage Control.
Master Chief Robles’ sea duty assignments include USS Wasp (LHD 1), USS Enterprise (CVN 65), Special Boat Team 12, USS Princeton (CG 59), USS Boxer (LHD 4), USS Cincinnati (LCS 20), USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62), and USS Stockdale (DDG 106). During these tours, he earned his qualifications as Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Emergency Medical Technician, and completed numerous deployments.
Ashore, he served at Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA) Mayport, FL. Following the events of September 11, 2001, he curtailed his shore tour and returned to sea duty. In 2008, he served at Afloat Training Group San Diego, earned his qualifications as Master Training Specialist, Afloat Training Specialist, and selected as Chief Petty Officer in 2009. In 2015, he returned to Afloat Training Group San Diego, earned lateral conversion to Command Senior Chief in 2017, and selected as Command Master Chief in 2018.
His previous Command Senior Enlisted Leader tours include Littoral Combat Ship Pre-Commission Detachment Crew 219 “Gold” Cincinnati, Littoral Combat Ship Crew 214 “Blue” - USS Cincinnati (LCS 20), USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62), and USS Stockdale (DDG 106).
His current assignment is Command Master Chief of Afloat Training Group Pacific / San Diego.
Master Chief Robles is a graduate of U.S. Naval War College Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 206 Red), CMC/COB Capstone Course (Class 182), Central Texas College, and Southern Illinois University (Class of 2016) - Bachelor of Science in Education, Cum Laude.
Master Chief Robles earned various service, unit, and personal awards that he credits to the teams of Sailors with whom he has proudly served.
