Past Command Senior Enlisted Leader, USS Miguel Keith (ESB 5) Blue Crew

28 January 2024 A native of Philadelphia, PA, Senior Chief Adams enlisted in the Navy in July of 2000.  Following graduation of Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, he reported to NATTC Pensacola, FL for Aviation Machinist’s Mate ‘A’ School.

His operational tours include Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron FIVE (HS-5) Jacksonville, FL where he completed two deployments onboard the USS John F. Kennedy; Electronic Attack Squadron 132 (VAQ-132) Whidbey Island, WA where he completed one deployment in country Al Asad Air Base Iraq and one deployment onboard the USS George Washington; Electronic Attack Squadron 133 (VAQ-133) Whidbey Island, WA completing one deployment onboard the USS John C. Stennis.    

His shore assignments include tours at Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Nine (VX-9) China Lake, CA; Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL as a Recruit Division Commander training over 880 recruits.

He is currently the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for USS MIGUEL KEITH (ESB-5) MILCREW Blue.    

He is a graduate of the United States Navy Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat (Class 24010) and the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 251, Orange).  

Senior Chief Adams awards include Navy/Marine Corps Commendation medal (2 awards), Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal (8 awards), and multiple unit and service awards.
