Command Master Chief Morales entered the Navy through the Delayed Entry Program arriving for basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL in October 2001. Following Recruit Training she reported to Airman Apprenticeship Training program in Pensacola, FL. She later reported to her first command USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) as an undesignated Airman. During this tour she advanced to Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Aircraft Handler) third class under command advancement program and qualified in Crash and Salvage.
Command Master Chief Morales transferred to Plans, Operations, and Medical Intelligence at Naval Medical Center San Diego as the Individual Augmentee platform manager and advanced to ABH2 in 2006. She deployed on the USNS Mercy during Pacific Partnership 2008. In 2009, she transitioned into Reserve unit CVN PAC 0294 as their Assistant Training Leading Petty Officer. After CVN PAC 0294 was disestablished, she transferred to CNIC Fire and Emergency Service DET B advancing to ABH1 and qualifying as Shore based Firefighter ISO NAVSTA Rota, NSA Bahrain and NSA Naples Fire Departments.
Command Master Chief Morales was selected to Chief Petty Officer in 2014 and in 2015 mobilized to ISA Bahrain as the Air Operations Terminal Division LCPO. Upon her return, she was NOSC North Island’s Operations and Training LCPO from 2016-2017 and selected to Senior Chief. Command Master Chief Morales transferred to Coastal Riverine Group ONE in 2017 as Force Mobilization Officer, overseeing continuous mobilizations of four reserve squadrons in C5F, C6F AORs. During this tour she was selected to Master Chief. In 2021, she was selected to Command Master Chief and mobilized to ECRC Forward/CTG 56.6 based in Qatar. After her mobilization she was laterally converted to TAR and transferred to Navy Reserve Center Great Lakes until June 2024. She is currently assigned as Command Master Chief aboard USS Sterett (DDG 104).
Command Master Chief Morales is designated Expeditionary, Aviation, and Surface Warfare specialist and has been awarded Navy Commendation Medals, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. She is a graduate of the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat (Class 21090), United States Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 221) and holds a B.A. in Psychology.
