Captain Kevin Marsh is a native of Coventry, RI.  He earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Political Science 2001 and a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership in 2010, both from Norwich University. He is in the process of earning his MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He was designated a Naval Flight Officer in June 2003.

Operationally he has served in numerous Airborne Command and Control squadrons flying the E-2C and E-2D Hawkeye. His fleet assignments include the VAW-117 Wallbangers, VAW-116 Sun Kings, and VAW-121 Bluetails as well as command of the VTC-12 (TACRON TWELVE) Talons. Most recently he served as Operations Officer of the USS Abraham Lincoln during a complete work up cycle and seven-month deployment to the Western Pacific. He deployed multiple times in support of major operations aboard USS WASP (LHD 1), USS Nimitz (CVN 68), USS Eisenhower (CVN 69), USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72).

Ashore, his assignments include Weapons and Tactics Instructor and Officer-in-Charge at the E-2 Hawkeye Weapons and Tactics Unit (Pacific), Special Assistant to the Commander, US Naval Forces Europe and Africa/Commander, Joint Force Command Naples, Italy. On the Joint Staff, J-39 in the Pentagon, he was Chief of Special Technical Operations then Executive Assistant to the Deputy Director of Global Operations

He is currently the Joint Strike Fighter Integration Lead for PMW 750, PEO C4I and the Naval Capabilities Integration Process (NCIP) Lead Mission Integrator for NAVWAR 5.0.

Captain Marsh has accumulated over 1,700 flight hours in all Hawkeye variants and more than 400 carrier-arrested landings.  His military decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), and various personal, service, and campaign decorations.
