Command Senior Chief Tinio is a native of Dededo, Guam. He enlisted in the Navy in March 2002 and after completion of Recruit Training, he attended Personnelman “A” School at Meridian, Mississippi.
He reported to his first command in Agana, Guam onboard USS FRANK CABLE (AS 40) in August 2002. Following this tour, he cross rated to Hospital Corpsman and reported “A” School at Great Lakes, Illinois. He then reported for his first tour as a Corpsman to USNMRTC Guam where he served as the LPO for the emergency department. After this tour, he reported to 1st Marine Logistics Group at Camp Pendleton where he deployed with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
In March 2015 he completed Surface Force Independent Duty Corpsman “C” School and since then he has served onboard USS PATRIOT (MCM 7); 2d Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division; USS RALPH JOHNSON (DDG 114) and USS GREEN BAY (LPD 20).
February 2024, he was selected for the CMDCS program and reported to USS WARRIOR (MCM 10) homeported in Sasebo, Japan where he is currently serving as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader.
His military awards and decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal and other various unit and campaign awards. He is qualified to wear the Enlisted Surface Warfare and Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist pins. He has an Associate’s Degree in Health Sciences and is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 255) and CMC/COB Course (Class 25010).
