A native of Westport Point, Massachusetts, Commander Reppert graduated from United States Naval Academy in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in History (Honors). She has a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College
A Surface Warfare Officer, Commander Reppert’s first sea assignment was aboard USS LASSEN (DDG 82) where she served as the Gunnery Officer and Auxiliaries Officer as part of the Forward Deployed Naval Forces based in Yokosuka, Japan. She subsequently served as Navigator and Administrative Officer in USS CARTER HALL (LSD 50), as Operations Officer in USS TRUXTUN (DDG 103), and completed an early command tour as Executive Officer and Commanding Officer of USS ARDENT (MCM 12).
Her shore tours include serving as a team leader for Maritime Civil Affairs Team (MCAT) 202 and Civil Military Operations Planner in support of Naval Forces Africa, the Command-At-Sea Directorate of Surface Warfare Schools Command, as a military faculty member in the War Gaming Department at the Naval War College in Newport, RI.
Commander Reppert’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (with two gold stars), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with three Gold Stars), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and multiple unit and service awards.
