Command Master Chief Andrea R. Morales is a native of Chula Vista, California. She enlisted in the United States Navy in July 2006. She attended Gas Turbine Systems “A” school, Apprentice Technical Training, and Electrician Core at Training Support Center, Great Lakes, IL.

Her operational assignments include USS Kidd (DDG 100), where she established herself as a plank owner and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist. She returned to Training Support Center, Great Lakes where she completed Console Operator and Maintenance Technician “C” School for DDG-51 class. Onboard Assault Craft Unit Five (ACU5), she served as Leading Petty Officer, Maintenance Chief, and Operations Maintenance Electrical Officer; ships operationally embarked while serving at ACU5 include USS San Diego (LPD 22) in support of RIMPAC 2015, USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) in support of USS America Amphibious Ready Group with 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit C3F and C7F deployment, and USS Somerset (LPD 25) in support of EXPONAVAL 2018.

Her shore assignments include Surface Warfare Officer School, Great Lakes, IL, where she served as a Gas Turbine Systems Electrical Maintenance instructor and qualified Master Training Specialist; Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, Pacific (EWTGPAC), Coronado, CA, where she served as a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Electrical Maintenance Technician instructor, Division Leading Chief Petty Officer, Departmental Leading Chief Petty Officer, Command Senior Enlisted Leader, and was selected as Command Senior Chief; Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility (FACSFAC) Jacksonville, FL, where she served her first tour as CMDCMS and was selected as CMDCM.

She is currently assignment as Command Master Chief, Unmanned Surface Vessel Squadron One (USVRON 1).

She is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 248 Khaki), a graduate of the 241st Command Master Chief Course, and is a graduate of Columbia College of Missouri.

Her personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal (five awards), and numerous other unit awards and commendations.
