Command Senior Chief, USS SANTA BARBARA (LCS 32)

Senior Chief Bruzon is a native of Las Tunas Cuba and graduated from Colonial High school in 2008. He enlisted in the United States Navy in Orlando Fl, on August 26, 2008. 

At sea, he reported to Assault Craft Unit Two in Virginia Beach, VA; USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) in Norfolk, VA; USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) in Guam and USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) in Norfolk, VA.Ashore, he reported to Naval Medicine National Capital region, Bethesda, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Jacksonville Fl and Naval Surface Forces Atlantic as the Force Counselor. 

Command Senior Chief Bruzon assumed duties and responsibilities as the Senior Enlisted leader of USS SANTA BARBARA (LCS 32) Blue Crew in October 2025. The ship is homeported in San Diego, California. 

Senior Chief Bruzon is a graduate of the Air Force Senior Enlisted Academy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Colombia and has earned multiple personal and unit awards including seven Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals, four Navy Commendations Medals and various campaign and unit citations.
