CDR Keith Krouchick

CDR Keith Krouchick is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He received his commission in 2007 from Tulane University NROTC, graduating with a BA in History and Political Science.

His sea tours include Main Propulsion Officer onboard the forward-deployed USS JUNEAU (LPD 10) and USS DENVER (LDP 9) from 2007-2009, Navigator onboard USS OKANE (DDG 77) out of Pearl Harbor, HI from 2009-2011, Chief Engineer onboard USS DECATUR (DDG 73) from 2015 2017 and Materials Officer at PHIBRON FIVE (CPR-5) from 2018-2019.

Ashore, he taught Navigation, Naval Ship Systems, and Naval Operations at the University of North Carolina NROTC Unit from 2011-2014 where he also earned a Master’s of Public Administration from North Carolina State University. He served as a Placement Officer and Assistant Director at PERS-41 in Millington, TN from 2019-2021 and was the NORTHCOM/STRATCOM Exercises Branch Chief for the Missile Defense Agency in Colorado Springs, CO from 2021-2023.

His personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards) and various other service awards and medals.

Most recently, CDR Krouchick completed his Executive Officer tour on USS MOMSEN (DDG 92). He reported as Commanding Officer in December 2025.
