CDR Anna Joy L. Hall

Executive Officer, PCU LOUIS H. WILSON (DDG 126)

01 December 2025 Commander Hall is a native of Miami, Florida. She attended Norwich University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and commissioning through the NROTC program.

Following commissioning, she served on USS KIDD (DDG-100) as the Repair Division Officer, and then reported for her second Division Officer tour to the USS ESSEX (LHD-2) as the Assistant Chief Engineer. Next, she received orders to Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet as the LSD Class Advocate.

For her Department Head tours, she served on USS PINCKNEY (DDG-91) as the Weapons Officer and Combat Systems Officer. While onboard, she finished her Master’s Degree in Leadership from Norwich University.

After completing her Department Head tours, she received orders to Naval Personnel Command in Millington, TN where she served as the Junior Officer Shore Coordinator in PERS-412. Next CDR Hall reported as the Director for the Basic Division Officer Course at Mariner Skills Training Center, Pacific in San Diego, CA. Then she completed an assignment at Surface Warfare Schools Command in Newport, RI, as the Prospective Commanding Officer Course Coordinator.

CDR Hall is currently the Executive Officer of the Pre-Commissioning Unit LOUIS H. WILSON (DDG 126). She has various personal, unit, and service awards.
