28 December 2020 Command Master Chief Alonso enlisted in the United States Navy in April 1996 and began serving as the 6th USS STERETT (DDG 104) Command Master Chief on December 2020. Service Schools: RTC Great Lakes; Apprenticeship Training NTC Great Lakes; Hospital Corpsman “A” School Great Lakes; Field Medical Service School Camp Pendleton; Operating Room Technician School San Diego; Surface Force Independent Duty Corpsman School San Diego; Senior Enlisted Academy Class 208; U.S. Coast Guard Senior Enlisted Leadership Course Class 64; CMDCM/COB Course Class 191.
