Master Chief Cabral is a native of San Jose, Calif. He joined the Navy and attended Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. in November 1999 where he earned his GED. After graduation, he reported to Steelworker “A” School in Gulfport, Miss. He graduated the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 201) and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat (CMC/COB) Leadership School and earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Organizational Management from University of La Verne with a Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma.
His first duty assignment was Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Three in Port Hueneme, Calif. He completed three deployments and finished his tour in a Fleet Support Billet at Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) and was selected for Mobile Utilities Support Equipment (MUSE) Program, where he attended the Army Prime Power Production Specialist Course at Fort Belvoir, Va. in 2005.
Upon graduation, he transferred to Naval Facilities Expeditionary Logistics Center (NFELC), assigned to MUSE (2006-2009). In 2009, he completed a one year tour at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay, Greece and then returned back to MUSE (2010-2012). His next assignment was Naval Computer and Telecommunication Stations Sicily, Italy (2012-2015) where he served as the Uninterruptable Power Supply Technician and the Command Career Counselor. His follow-on assignment included Command Submarine Pacific Navy Data Center, Japan (2015-2018) where he served as the Facilities Manager and Senior Enlisted Advisor. In 2017 he completed a follow-on tour to Command Task Force Five Six (CTF 56), Bahrain (2018-2019) for a critical billet prior to his first command tour.
His current assignment is Command Senior Chief of USS Mobile (LCS 26) Blue Crew.
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), and various campaign and unit awards.
