Past Command Senior Chief, USS Cincinnati (LCS 20)

Command Master Chief Erika J. Lavallais, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, enlisted in the United States Navy in October 1996 and completed basic training and airman apprentice training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois. In 1998, she reported to Aviation Maintenance Administrationman (AZ) “A” school in Meridian, Mississippi.
Her sea tours include two deployments aboard USS Arctic (AOE 8) and USNS Mount Baker with Helicopter Combat Support Squadron SIX (HC-6); USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) and USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) with Commander, Carrier Air Wing ONE. Her shore tours include HC-6 in Norfolk; Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance and Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland; and Officer Training Command (OTCN) in Newport, Rhode Island.
She completed her associates degree in general studies, her bachelor’s degree in sports and health science and accepted into the Command Senior Enlisted Leader program. She is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 178) and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat course (Class 186).
Command Master Chief Lavallais has been awarded the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal and numerous campaign medals and ribbons
