Jackson’s assignments include Basic Training in Great Lakes, Illinois in 2001, mechanical common core, Machinist’s Mate “A” school, USS Denver (LPD 9), USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), USS Nimitz (CVN 68), and Littoral Combat Ship Crew (LCS) 203. During these tours he deployed to the Western Pacific five times, completed numerous “C” schools, and earned his Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) qualification as an E-5. While at LCS he was the only Command Master Chief to embark three different hulls; USS Independence (LCS 2), USS Jackson (LCS 6), and culminated in the first LCS 2 Variant’s maiden overseas deployment in USS Coronado (LCS 4). His sea duty ultimately resulted in selection to Senior Chief Petty Officer, the Command Senior Chief program and later Command Master Chief.
Ashore, he served at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command in San Diego, CA as the Claimancy Equal Opportunity Advisor (EOA), and was advanced to Chief Petty Officer.
Command Master Chief Jackson is currently assigned to USS San Diego (LPD 22).
He is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class 190 “Blue” and holds an Associate’s degree in Applied Science & Technology from the University of Central Texas.
