The “Mighty Mac” conducted 10 boardings with the assistance of three Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachments (LEDETs), resulting in six interdictions and the disruption of over 3800 kilograms of cocaine, and the capture of 17 suspected drug traffickers. Following deployment, McCLUSKY returned to San Diego and was decommissioned after 31 years of distinguished active naval service.
