Command Master Chief Robles, a native of Dallas, Texas, enlisted in the United States Navy in November 1996.  Following basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Engineering Common Core School and Interior Communications “A” School. 

Upon Arrival to USS Wasp (LHD 1) in 1997 he converted rates to Damage Control.   Robles’ previous sea duty assignments in the Damage Control rating include duty on USS Wasp (LHD 1), USS Enterprise (CVN 65), Special Boat Team 12, USS Princeton (CG 59), and USS Boxer (LHD 4).  During these tours, he qualified Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, and completed numerous deployments and amphibious surge exercises to the Mediterranean Sea, Arabian Gulf, Western Pacific, and Central American areas of operation.

Ashore, he served the Damage Control community at Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity Mayport and Afloat Training Group San Diego where he qualified Master Training Specialist, Afloat Training Specialist, and was selected for lateral conversion to Command Senior Chief in 2017. His previous Command Master Chief tours include Littoral Combat Ship Crew 219 Pre-Commission Detachment and Littoral Combat Ship Crew 214 - USS Cincinnati (LCS 20), and USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62). 

Master Chief Robles is a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 206, “Big RED”), Command Master Chief Capstone course (Class 182), and Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in December 2016. His current assignment is Command Master Chief of USS Stockdale (DDG 106).

His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (two awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal (seven awards) and various service, unit, and campaign awards.
