Operations Specialist Senior Chief Petty Officer Paul Reynolds hails from the small ranching town of Winthrop tucked in a valley at the top of the Cascade Mountains of Northern Washington. After graduating from Liberty Bell High School, he reported to Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, in September 1994. Shortly after OS "A" School began his career on the mighty Frigate, USS GARY (FFG 51). 

Senior Chief Reynolds has deployed seven times to the Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf while also serving aboard the USS THACH (FFG 43), USS FLETCHER (DD 992), USS OLDENDORF (DD 972) and the USS NIMITZ (CVN 68). He was awarded one of his three Navy Achievement Medals for actions while capturing Pirates off the coast of Yemen.

He has completed two combat tours to the Middle East attached to SEAL Team 7 as the Tactical Operations Center Lead during counter insurgent operations and three embassy evacuations with the Crisis Response Element.  For his actions while serving at SEAL Team 7, he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and the Joint Service Commendation Medal.

His shore duty assignments include: field instructor for S.E.R.E (Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape), Future Operations scheduling assistant for Commander Naval Surface Forces Pacific, Combat Systems Team Lead for Afloat Training Group Pacific, and most recently Mission Liaison Officer for Commander Littoral Combat Ship Squadron One. 

Senior Chief Reynolds reported aboard PCU LYNDON B. JOHNSON in May of 2018 and has served as the Senior Enlisted Leader and Operations Department head until the crew was reassigned early 2020.

His personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corp Commendation Medal (3 awards), Army Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 Awards), Good Conduct Medal (7 Awards), and numerous campaign and unit awards.
