Past Command Master Chief, Afloat Training Group Pacific North West (COMATG PACNORWEST)

15 March 2021 Master Chief Hines reported to Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Florida in September 1991. He is a native of and was raised in Montana.

His sea duty assignments include USS Sacramento (AOE 1), USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67), USS Frank Cable (AS 40), USS Nimitz (CVN 68), and USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74).
His Shore Duty assignments include Training Support Command and Center Naval Engineering located in Great Lakes, Illinois. 

Master Chief Hines reported to Afloat Training Group, Pacific Northwest in June 2019 and assumed the duties as the Command Senior Enlisted Advisor in August 2020. 
His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal (six awards), and various unit and campaign awards.

He is pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies from Columbia College.
