CDR Ralph Lufkin

Past Executive Officer, USS Manchester (LCS 14) Blue Crew

01 April 2021 A native of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Cmdr. Ralph Lufkin graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College with a Master of Arts in National Defense and Strategic Studies.
 
His operational tours include serving as strike officer aboard USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79); auxiliary officer aboard USS Vandergrift (FFG 48); operations officer aboard USS Dextrous (MCM13) and USS Independence (LCS 2).
 
Ashore, Lufkin served as a class officer at Officer Training Command Newport and as an instructor at the Surface Warfare Officers School Command.
 
His current assignment is executive officer of USS Manchester (LCS 14) Blue Crew.
 
Cmdr. Lufkin has received various personal unit and campaign awards while serving as part of talented teams of Naval professionals.
