Commander Isaia Infante is the son of a Navy veteran and calls Bremerton, WA his home. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Washington and was commissioned through the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps in 2004. He holds a master’s in business administration from the Naval Postgraduate School, a master’s in national resource strategy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, and is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute certifying in Mandarin.
His assignments at sea include division officer tours aboard USS Chancellorsville (CG 62), USS Shiloh (CG 67), and USS Jarrett (FFG 33). As a department head, he served as Engineer Officer with MCM Crew Constant embarked on USS Ardent (MCM 12) and USS Cape St George (CG 71).
Ashore, he served as the Shipbuilding and Conversion Navy (SCN) Appropriation Military Deputy at the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Integrated Warfare (OPNAV N9I).
Personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
