Command Master Chief Murodov is a native of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 2000 and realized his dream of serving in the Navy by taking an oath of enlistment and attending Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Persian Farsi and Russian from Excelsior University and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University. Murodov is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 209/Gold), as well as the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat (CMC/COB) Course (Class 207).

His sea duty assignments include surface, subsurface, and airborne operations based out of Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) Georgia and NIOC Bahrain.

Ashore, Murodov graduated from Aviation Machinist Mate (AD) ‘A’ School in Pensacola, Fla. and was assigned to Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department (AIMD) Sigonella. He also graduated from Cryptologic Technician Interpretive (CTI) “A” School at Defense Language Institute, in Monterey, CA, where he served as Division Chief and as Senior Enlisted Advisor at the Persian Farsi Language School. Later completing a tour with National Security Agency/Central Security Service Georgia.

His current assignment is Command Master Chief, USS Gabrielle Giffords (LCS 10) Blue Crew.

His personal awards include the Air Strike Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy Achievement Medal (two awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
