A native of Pickerington, Ohio, Commander Connor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and her commission from The Ohio State University in 2005.  
 
Commander Connor’s sea duty assignments include tours on COMMANDER, TASK FORCE 65 as chief staff officer and future operations officer, USS THE SULLIVANS (DDG 68) as operations officer, and USS HUE CITY (CG 66) as navigator, assistant operations officer, and combat information center officer.
 
Her shore duty assignments include tours on the staff of Director, Assessments (OPNAV N81) as an operations analyst for Afloat Force Generation and Readiness, on the front office staff of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for integration of capabilities and resources (OPNAV N8) as the deputy executive assistant, at Duke University Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps as a naval science instructor, and at the Naval Service Training Command Officer Development Directorate as a placement officer.
 
While serving ashore, she graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School with a Master of Arts in Systems Analysis in 2020 and from Northwestern University School of Continuing Studies with a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration in 2012.

Her current assignment is executive officer, USS Tulsa (LCS 16) Gold Crew.

Her personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (one award), the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (two awards), and various unit, campaign, and service medals and ribbons.
