A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Commander Daniel Supple graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2005 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Deploying to Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Fleets, Commander Supple has served on ships stationed in Norfolk, Pearl Harbor, San Diego, and Yokosuka.  His sea duty included assignments aboard USS STOUT (DDG 55) as Gunnery Officer and Force Protection Officer; USS CHOSIN (CG 65) as Training Officer; USS SAMPSON (DDG 102) and USS LAKE ERIE (CG 70) as Operations Officer; and USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) as Damage Control Assistant.

Ashore, he served as an instructor of Advanced Leadership at the United States Naval Academy and as the Current Operations (N31) action officer for surface warfare operations at Commander, US Pacific Fleet. He most recently served as Operations Officer (N3) for Commander, Destroyer Squadron 15, in Yokosuka, Japan.

Commander Supple’s military decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, various service medals, and unit awards. He is currently assigned as the Executive Officer, USS CHANCELLORSVILLE (CG 62).
