From Benton, Arkansas, Capt. Allbritton graduated from Northwestern University in June 1993 with a Bachelors of Arts in English and a commission from the NROTC program. He also graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval War College Nonresident Program in 2000, National University in 2005 with a Masters Degree in Management, and completed both JPME I and JPME II certification achieving full Joint officer qualification.   

Afloat, Capt. Allbritton’s assignments include: USS JOHN A. MOORE (FFG 19) as Electronics Maintenance Officer and Auxiliaries and Electrical Officer; USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN (CG 57) as Fire Control Officer; and USS MCCLUSKY (FFG 41) as Operations Officer. His Executive Officer tours included USS ANTIETAM (CG 54) from May 2006 to January 2008, USS GRIDLEY (DDG 101) from December 2009 to March 2011, and USS BOXER from June 2015 to December 2016.  

He has commanded three warships including USS HURRICANE (PC 3) from February 2003 to December 2004, USS GRIDLEY (DDG 101) from March 2011 to September 2012, and USS BOXER (LHD 4) from December 2016 to July 2018.  His ships won various awards and commendations including 4 Battle Efficiency Awards.

Ashore, he served as a Master Training Specialist (MTS) at Fleet Combat Training Center Pacific.  He was the Flag Speech Writer for Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet in 2005. He completed a one-year GSA tour as a Joint Strategist at Multi-National Force-Iraq CJ-5 Strategy, Plans, and Assessments in May 2009. He also completed a Senior Assessor tour with Engineering Assessments Pacific.  Capt. Allbritton served as the NAVCENT Chief of Staff and FIFTH Fleet Maritime Operations Center (MOC) Director from 2018 to 2020.  He recently completed a tour as Executive Assistant to the Director of Integrated Warfare (N9I) on the OPNAV Staff in Arlington, VA.  

His awards include the Legion of Merit (two awards), Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (four awards), Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), and Navy Achievement medal (two awards) as well as various unit and personal decorations.
