Command Master Chief Petty Officer Webster is a native of Texas who entered the U.S. Navy in 1992 attending basic training and Aviation Apprentice School in Great Lakes, Illinois. He reported to his first tour of duty onboard the USS Ranger (CV-61) ISO Operation Southern Watch. Next, while stationed at Fighter Squadron One One One (VF-111) embarked onboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63), he struck into the Aviation Maintenance Administrationman (AZ) rate and attended AZ “A” School in Meridian, MS. He went on to serve onboard the USS Peleliu (LHA-5) during Operation Restore Hope; Helicopter Light Support Squadron Four Three (HSL-43) as a Safe-for-Flight System Administrator/Data Analyst, deploying onboard USS Shoup (DDG-86), USS Howard (DDG-83), USS Antietam (CG-54) and USS Paul F. Foster (DD-964). As a Chief, he deployed as an Individual Augmentee with Helicopter Combat Squadron Eight Four (HSC-84) in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was as a Maintenance Master Chief onboard USS Nimitz (CVN-68) ISO Operation Enduring Freedom. His first Command Master Chief (CMC) tour was with Patrol Squadron Nine (VP-9). He also served as the CMC of Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia in the British Indian Ocean Territory.
Command Master Chief Webster’s shore tours include Sea Control Wing Pacific Fleet, Fleet Aviation Specialized Operational Training Command Detachment Lemoore where he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer in 2004, Commander Naval Air Force's Aviation Maintenance Management Team and Training Support Center San Diego where he was selected to the CMC program in 2015. He served his third CMC tour as the first CMC onboard Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
He currently serves as the CMC onboard USS Mobile Bay (CG-53).
Command Master Chief Webster’s academic achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in social sciences; a Master's Degree in human resources; Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education; Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education. He is an honor graduate from the Senior Enlisted Academy (2012), is qualified as an Enlisted Surface and Aviation Warfare Specialist and certified as a Master Training Specialist. Command Master Chief Webster’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), the Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards) and several other campaign and unit awards.
