Past Command Senior Chief, Assault Craft Unit Five (ACU 5)

10 March 2022 Command Senior Chief Addicott is a native of Orwell, Ohio. Graduating in June 1999 as an Aviation Storekeeper Airman Recruit. He graduated from Post University earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration March 2016.  Also, is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 224 in June 2019.

His first tour was onboard the USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN-73) from 1999-2003 in Norfolk, VA.  He served as S-6 Division Night Check Supervisor and advanced to AK2 completing 2 Mediterranean-Middle East deployments. His second tour was SPAWAR Norfolk as Supply Systems Analyst from 2003-2007. Heading to his 2nd sea tour in January 2007 he transferred to USS ROOSEVELT (DDG-80) in Jacksonville, FL where he was the LPO and made SK1.  Completing a Standard NATO Maritime Group Deployment and IA to Afghanistan he transferred to NRD Miami in March 2011.  4 months after reporting he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer.  In March 2014 he transferred to USS GARY (FFG 51) stationed in San Diego, CA as S-1 Division LCPO.  After a successful RIMPAC, deployment, and decommissioning Senior finished his sea duty onboard USS PEARL HARBOR (LSD-52) from August 2015- September 2017. Continuing back-to-back sea duty Senior Chief reported to NSWG-1 LOGSU from November 2017 – November 2020 as Financial LCPO and Combat Support Team 5 DLCPO supporting the warfighters at the tip of the spear for 2 deployments in CENTCOM and INDOPACOM AOR’s. LSCS Addicott is currently assigned to Assault Craft Unit Five (ACU-5) as the Command’s Senior Enlisted Advisor.

Personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal X3, Army Commendation Medal X2, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal X6, Army Achievement Medal and various other unit and personal awards.  Also earned Aviation Warfare, Surface Warfare, and Expeditionary Warfare devices.
