LCDR Patrick D. Shouvlin

Past Executive Officer, USS GREEN BAY (LPD 20)

29 April 2022 Lieutenant Commander Pat Shouvlin is a native of Springfield, Ohio.  He attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Engineering.  He holds a current Second Assistant Engineer License for Unlimited Horsepower. LCDR Shouvlin earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Naval Post Graduate School. 

LCDR Shouvlin’s sea duty assignments include tours in USS DOYLE (FFG 39) as the Combat Information Center Officer and Electrical Officer, USS ESSEX (LHD 2) as the ADCA, and USS FARRAGUT (DDG 99) and USS ARLINGTON (LPD 24) as the Chief Engineer.

LCDR Shouvlin served a one year Global Support Assignment as Battle Watch Captain for III and XVIII ABN Corps U.S. Forces-Iraq in Baghdad and Al Asad, Iraq. Additionally, he served as Senior Assessor, Diesel Propulsion Type Deputy, and MOB-E Project Officer at Engineering Assessments Pacific (EAP). 

LCDR Shouvlin’s personal decorations, medals, campaign and service awards are all due to the hard work and dedication of the great Sailors he has been fortunate to serve with.
