Command Senior Chief Branden Wilkins, a native of Los Angeles, graduated from Temecula Valley High School in 2002, and enlisted in the Navy as a Damage Controlman and enter basic training in April 2005. Wilkins holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Excelsior College. He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Purple Group, Class 238), and CMC/COB course.

His sea duty assignments include USS Juneau (LPD 10) as a work center supervisor, USS Chosin (CG 65) as a leading petty officer, and USS Rushmore (LSD 47) as a leading chief petty officer. Wilkins deployed in the U.S. Third, Fifth, and Seventh areas of responsibility. He is qualified as an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Master Training Specialist, and Afloat Training Specialist.

Wilkins’ shore tours include Navy Operational Support Center Las Vegas and Afloat Training Group Middle Pacific as the Mobility Damage Control departmental leading chief petty officer and senior enlisted leader. 

He currently serves as the USS Manchester (LCS 14) Blue Crew command senior chief.

Wilkins’ personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (7 awards), Navy Good Conduct Medals (5 awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal as well as various unit awards, campaign and service decorations.
