21 September 2022 CMDCM Williams Avery A native of Pensacola FL where he graduated from Pine Forest High School in 1997 and enlisted in the Navy August 2, 1999. He attended basic training at RTC Great Lakes, IL and then Operations Specialist Apprentice School in Virginia Beach, VA and advanced to Chief Petty Officer September 13, 2013.

Most recent tours include USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG-54) as Command Master Chief, USS ST. LOUIS (LCS-19) as Command Senior Chief, COMLCSRON TWO TRAINING COMMAND UNIT as Senior Enlisted Leader, COMLCSRON TWO as N3 Departmental Leading Chief Petty Officer, USS LITTLE ROCK (LCS-9) as Departmental Leading Chief Petty Officer, USS STOUT (DDG-55) as the Future Operations Leading Chief Petty Officer, USS FARRAGUT (DDG-99) as Leading Petty Officer, and FACSFAC Jacksonville as Tactical Operations Supervisor.

CMDCM Williams Avery is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 227, and CMC/COB Course, Class 212. CMDCM Williams Avery is entitled to wear the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal (6 awards) and numerous unit medals and ribbons. He also attained his Surface Warfare Qualification.
