CDR Todd M. Beatty

Executive Officer, USS Savannah (LCS 28) Gold Crew

11 October 2022 Cmdr. Todd Beatty is a native of Buckley, Wash. He received his commission through Officer Candidate School upon graduation from Pacific Lutheran University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Homeland Security.

At sea, he served as First Lieutenant and Force Protection Officer aboard USS Stout (DDG 55) and as Weapons Officer and Combat Systems Officer aboard USS Gonzalez (DDG 66).

Ashore, he completed tours as Assistant Operations Officer for Naval Station Everett; executed a one-year Individual Augment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Bagram, Afghanistan; as Type Desk Officer at Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic; and as Executive Officer of Afloat Training Group Pacific Northwest.

Commander Beatty currently serves as the Executive Officer of USS Savannah (LCS 28) Gold crew.

His personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal as well as multiple unit and service awards.
