A native from Manila, Philippines graduated from the Philippine Merchant Marine School in 1996 attained the Bachelors of Science in Marine Transportation. He subsequently joined the U.S Navy and Completed Basic Training and Seaman Apprentice School in Great Lakes Illinois in 1997. He also received his Associates Degree in Applied Science from Vincennes University and completed the following military schools and courses: NAVLEAD, HM A-school, Field Medical Service School, TCCC Instructor Trainer Course, EMT School, MWTC High Altitude Combat course, Navy Instructor School, CMD Fitness Leader course, Navy Recruiting School, Combat Trauma Management, Senior Enlisted Academy class 217 (Brown group), CMC/COB School class of 19080 and Leadership Team Awareness Seminar in DEOMI. Master Chief Antonio has served at both sea and shore. 

His tours included assignments as a Boatswain Mate aboard USS Duluth (LPD-6) (1997-2001), EMT/Hospital Corpsman onboard ER Naval Medical Center San Diego (USNS Mercy Det.) (2001-2004), Field Medical Service Technician with 2nd Battalion 5th Marines Echo/ Weapon Company 1st MARDIV (2004-2008), Human Resource Dept. / POMI onboard NMCSD (3rd Marine Air Wing Det.) (2008-2011), Medical/Dental Dept. LCPO aboard USS Boxer (LHD-4) (2011-2014), Navy Recruiter/Headquarters Medical Liaison and acting CMC onboard NRD Los Angeles (2014-2016), and served as the Health Services Dept. Senior Enlisted Leader  and acting CMC aboard USS San Diego (LPD 22) (2017-2019.)

Successfully completed C7F/C6F and CENTCOM/C5F Combat Tour (Ar-Ramadi, Iraq OIFII - II): USS Duluth (LPD-6) (1998, 2000), 1st Marine Division (2004, 2005, 2006 & 2008), USS Boxer (LHD-4) (2011, 2013) and USS San Diego (LPD 22) (2017.)  He also participated as part of the Battalion Landing Team with 15th and 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (USS Pearl Harbor, LSD 52/ USS Essex, LHD 2) with Echo and Weapons Company 2/5 in support of joint operation in 2006, 2008 and 2011 as part of special MAGTF in PACOM/Indo China and Central Command. His previous Senior Enlisted Leader Tour was with LCS Crew 219, USS Charleston (LCS 18) Gold Crew 2019-2020 as Command Senior Chief and Command Master Chief of USS RUSHMORE (LSD 47) 2020-2022 FDNF-J.

His personal awards include: The Navy Commendation Medal (6th award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2nd award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Combat “V” (1st award), sea service, unit awards, campaign medals, MOVSM and Combat Action Ribbon.
