A native of Northern California, Senior Chief Finley joined the Navy in August of 1998. After her initial training, she reported to her first tour at Chief of Naval Personnel Secretariat in Washington, DC as a Yeoman. 

Senior Chief Finley’s operational assignments include Carrier Strike Group SEVEN (CSG 7), USS PINCKNEY (DDG 91) and Tactical Air Control Squadron TWELVE (VTC-12) at San Diego, California. Further, she served at North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Headquarters at Kabul, Afghanistan, and Strike Fighter Squadron ONE ONE FIVE (VFA-115) at Atsugi, Japan. 

Ashore, Senior Chief Finley served at Navy Recruiting Command at Millington, Tennessee, Military Sealift Command Pacific at Point Loma, California and Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters in San Diego, California. Most recently, Senior Chief Finley was the Executive Department Leading Chief Petty Officer at U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. 

She has qualified as Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, and Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist. She has earned numerous medals and unit campaign awards throughout her career and is a graduate from the U.S. Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 239. 

She currently serves as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader, Mine Countermeasures Group THREE located in Point Loma, California.
