CDR Jeremy M. Weathers

12 February 2024 Commander Jeremy Weathers is a native of Hartwell, Ga. He is a 2003 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD with a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography. Holding post-graduate degree in Computer Science focusing on Quantum Computing Cyber Security from the Naval Post-Graduate School, Monterey, CA.
 
At sea, he has served onboard two Destroyers (USS DECATURE DDG 73 and USS MCFAUL DDG74) and two Amphibious ships (USS KEARSARGE LHD3 and USS MAKIN ISLAND LHD 8). His at sea-tours earned him five deployments to the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Fleet AORs in support Operation Iraqi Free, Enduring Freedom and other deployment campaigns.
 
CDR Weathers ashore assignments include U.S. Third Fleet, San Diego,CA where he served as the lead for Joint Training, Certifications and Exercises, N5/7 directorate; Undersea Warfighting Development Center, Norfolk, VA, Chief of Exercises, N7; return tour to U.S. Third Fleet as the Chief of Exercises and Fleet Training Director, N5/7.
 
His personal decorations include the Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal (7 awards), The Meritorious Service Medal (1 award), as well as other campaign, unit and service awards.
