LCDR Peter J. Bue

Past Commanding Officer, USS PATRIOT (MCM 7)

09 February 2023 LCDR Peter Bue is a native of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. He graduated from Norwich University in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in the Studies of War and Peace, and earned a Masters in Diplomacy from Norwich University in 2017. 

LCDR Peter Bue served as a division officer aboard USS ROSS (DDG 71) as Gunnery Officer. 

In Febuary of 2014, he reported in MCM Crew REAPER as First Lieutenant and Operations Officer embared on USS SCOUT (MCM 8) and USS DEXTROUS (MCM 13). 

He then reported to Special Boat Team TWENTY TWO (SBT-22) in September 2015 as Operations Officer. 

In January 2017, he checked onboard Riverine Squadron FOUR (CRS-4) as MK VI Officer-in-Charge. 

As a Department Head, he served as the Operations Officer in USS CARTER HALL (LSD 50).

During his department head tour, he was selected for Early Command and checked onboard USS PATRIOT (MCM 7) as Executive Officer in July 2021, and assumed Command in Febuary 2023.
