A native of San Diego, California, Command Senior Chief Escolano reported to Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, IL, in April 2005 and began his career as an Aviation Maintenance Adminstrationman.
 

He has served in the following sea duty tours, Electronic Attack Squadron ONE FOUR ZERO (VAQ-140), NAS Whidbey Island, WA; Special Projects Patrol Squadron TWO (VPU-2), MCBH Kaneohe Bay, HI; and Strike Fighter Squadron ONE THREE SIX (VFA-136), NAS Lemoore, CA.

His previous shore tours includes Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), NAS North Island, CA and Naval Aviation Center for Excellence (NAMCE), NAS Lemoore, CA, as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader. He reported to USS CANBERRA (LCS-30) in October 2023 as the Senior Enlisted Leader.

Senior Chief Escolano is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, Newport, RI, (Class 249/Red) and CMC/COB school (Class 23140). His personal awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (x2), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (x5), and various campaign and operational awards. He is qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (AW) and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist.
