FCCS (SW/AW) SHAUN G TUCKER

Senior Enlisted Leader, UNMANNED SURFACE VESSEL DIVISION ONE (USVDIV1)

03 April 2023 Senior Chief Shaun Tucker hails from Gilbert, Arizona. He enlisted in the Navy in July 2004, attending Basic Training at Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. He attended Advance Electronics Computer Field Tech Core School and Fire Controlman, “A” School and NATO Seasparrow Missile system (NSSMS) “C” School. 

His sea duty assignments include USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) completing two Western Pacific Deployments and as a plankowner on USS Gabrielle Giffords (LCS-10) executing the ship’s maiden deployment to Seventh Fleet. 

He volunteered for a tour in Basra, Iraq serving as a Counter-Rocket Artillery Mortar (C-RAM) operator overseeing a shore base Close-In Weapon System and ensuring the safety and security of the base against numerous mortar and rocket attacks. He also served as the Operations Assistant at the United States Embassy in Lima, Peru after completing the Defense Attaché Course in Washington, D.C. 

His current assignment is Senior Enlisted Leader, Unmanned Surface Vessel Division ONE. 

His personal awards include the Joint Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Navy Achievement Medal (two awards).
