BMCS(SW/AW) Nathaniel Crichton is a native of Bremerton, Washington. He attended Recruit Training Command (RTC) Great Lakes and Seaman “ATD” in 2003.

At sea, he has served aboard the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) as DA40 Work Center Supervisor, Operations Deck (OD) Leading Petty Officer onboard USS Lake Champlain (CG 57), OD Leading Chief Petty Officer onboard USS Milius (DDG 69), and N3 (Operations) Department Leading Chief Petty Officer for Destroyer Squadron 23.

Ashore, he has served as Leading Petty Officer for Fleet Activities Yokosuka Transient Personnel Unit; and Anti-terrorism Warfare Lead/Leading Chief Petty Officer at Afloat Training Group, Middle Pacific in Pearl Harbor, HI.

His current assignment is Command Senior Enlisted Leader onboard USS Germantown (LSD 42)

He has an Associate of Arts degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus and is a graduate of the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy. His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corp Commendation Medals (2 awards), the Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal (9 awards), as well as other personal, unit, and campaign awards.
