CDR Goff was raised in Whittier, California. She graduated from The California Maritime Academy (Vallejo, CA) in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Technology and a minor in Naval Science. Additionally, she received her Merchant Mariner Credentials as a licensed Third Assistant Engineer for Diesel, Steam, and Gas Turbine Engines, Unlimited Horsepower. She earned a Master of Science in Engineering and Transportation Management from The California Maritime Academy and upgraded her Merchant Mariner Licenses to Second Assistant Engineer for Diesel and Gas Turbine.

At sea, she served as Auxiliaries Officer and later the First Lieutenant aboard USS CURTIS WILBUR (DDG 54), Forward Deployed Naval Forces, Yokosuka, Japan in 2008 where she qualified as Officer of the Deck and Surface Warfare Officer. Returning to San Diego in 2011, she was stationed aboard USS PEARL HARBOR (LSD 52) as Auxiliaries Officer. During this time, she completed her first Western Pacific Deployment and qualified Diesel Engineering Officer of the Watch and Command Duty Officer. From 2015 to 2017, she served as the Engineer Officer aboard USS DONALD COOK (DDG 75), Forward Deployed Naval Forces Europe, Rota, Spain. During this time, she completed an Eastern Mediterranean and Baltic Sea Patrol while standing Tactical Action Officer in a heightened SIXTH Fleet environment. Her final department head tour was completed aboard USS AMERICA (LHA-6) as Training Officer.

Ashore, she served with Engineering Assessments Pacific as a Diesel and Gas Turbine Engineering Assessor, Expeditionary Strike Group THREE as Flag Secretary, and Commander Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet as a part of the Commander’s Action Group.

CDR Goff currently serves onboard Littoral Combat Ship Squadron ONE as the Reserve Program Director and Chief Staff Officer.

Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards) and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), along with various unit and service awards.
