CMDCM Marcus Jimenez

COMMAND MASTER CHIEF, USS JACK H. LUCAS (DDG 125)

12 April 2024 Command Master Chief, Marcus Jimenez is a native of Plainview, TX. He enlisted in the Navy in 2001 and attended basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL. Upon graduation he proceeded to Airman Apprenticeship Training School at Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC), Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL.

Command Master Chief Jimenez is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 223 Purple) and a graduate of the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat (CMC/COB) course. He holds an Associate, Bachelors, and a Master’s degree in organizational leadership.

His shore duty assignments include: Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA, Commander Airborne Command Control and Logistics Wing in Point Mugu, CA, and NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego, CA.

His sea duty assignments include: Strike Fighter Squadron 14, USS NIMITZ (CVN 68), USS JACKSON (LCS 6) Crew 212, USS OMAHA (LCS 12) Crew 212, and USS CANBERRA (LCS 30) GOLD. His most recent assignment was USS MOBILE (LCS 26) BLUE.

He currently serves onboard USS JACK H LUCAS (DDG 125), the Navy’s first Flight III Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer homeported in San Diego, CA.

Command Master Chief Jimenez is authorized to wear the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist insignia.

His personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), Meritorious Service Medal, as well as various unit and campaign awards.
