CMDCM Julius C. Green

Command Master Chief, USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60)

09 May 2024 Command Master Chief Julius C. Green, a native of Alexandria, LA, enlisted in the United States Navy in 2006 and subsequently graduated recruit training at Navy Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois. He followed Recruit Training with the completion of Postal Clerk Apprentice School in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.

He has served on a myriad of sea duty assignments, including USS New Orleans (LPD-18), USS AMERICA (LHA-6), USS Russell (DDG-59), USS Spruance (DDG-111), USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), and most recently as Command Senior Chief aboard USS JOHN L. CANLEY (ESB 6) Blue Crew.

His shore tours include Fleet Mail Center (FMC), Yokohama, Japan, Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center San Diego (ECRC), where he completed an 8-month Individual Augmentee to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Naval Special Warfare Center in Coronado, and Naval Leadership and Ethics Command in San Diego, California.

Command Master Chief Green’s’ personal awards include the Joint Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal (eight awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal and numerous unit and campaign awards. He is qualified to wear Enlisted Surface Warfare and the Enlisted Aviation Warfare. He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 239 (Red) and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat course. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt, MBA in Organizational Leadership, Executive Certificate in Strategic Leadership, and a Doctorate in Business Administration.

He assumed duties as the Command Master Chief for USS Paul Hamilton on May 6, 2024.
