A native of Baltimore, Maryland, CDR Rebecca Conti-Vock graduated from Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Boston University with dual degree Bachelors of the Arts in Political Science and Sociology. She holds masters’ degrees in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and in Public Administration from The Pennsylvania State University.
 

At Sea, she was the Electronics Warfare Officer and Boilers Officer onboard USS DUBUQUE (LPD 8), and the Fire Control Officer onboard USS BULKELEY (DDG 84). Her department head tours were as Weapons Officer and Combat Systems Officer onboard USS ROOSEVELT (DDG 80). Rebecca’s post department head tour was as N5/N9, Foreign Engagements and Exercises/Warfighting, Assessments, and Readiness, forward deployed on the DESTROYER SQUADRON FIFTEEN (CDS 15) / COMTASKFOR 71 (CTF 71) staff. She reported as Executive Officer, USS BENFOLD (DDG 65), in June 2024.

Ashore, Rebecca served as the Community Matters Action Officer and Future Naval Surface Combatant Action Officer on the Chief of Naval Operations staff in the OPNAV N96 Surface Warfare Directorate, a Flag Aide to the Commander of the Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC), and most recently as a Tactical Action Officer instructor at the Surface Warfare Schools Command in the N73 Maritime Warfare Directorate. She is an Anti-Submarine/Surface Warfare (ASW/SUW) Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI).

Rebecca is a United States Naval Institute member and has served on the national board of the Surface Navy Association. Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various unit and campaign awards.
