Command Senior Chief Petty Officer Aric Dickson, a native of Mandeville, Louisiana enlisted in the Navy in 2005. After completing basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL, he reported to Electronics Technician “A” School also in Great Lakes, IL.
Upon graduation from “A” School, he reported to USS PRINCETON (CG 59) deploying three times to the 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility in support of operations IRAQI and ENDURING FREEDOM. While aboard PRINCETON, he served onboard USS KIDD (DDG 100) on his fourth deployment supporting anti-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden. Subsequently, he served aboard USS GABRIELLE GIFFORDS (LCS 10) as a Plankowner and was selected to Chief Petty Officer in 2018, deploying again to the 7th Fleet area of operations as Combat Systems Electronics Leading Chief Petty Officer. Senior Chief Dickson served aboard USS PRINCETON (CG 59) a second time as the Combat Systems Department Leading Chief Petty Officer and deployed for his sixth deployment with the USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70) Carrier Strike Group to the 7th Fleet area of responsibility. While onboard USS PRINCETON, he was selected for the Command Senior Chief program in 2024. Ashore, Senior Chief Dickson served at Naval Air Station Point Mugu, Ca, as the Leading Petty Officer of Ground Electronics Maintenance Division and as Air Operations Department Leading Chief Petty Officer aboard Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD.
Command Senior Chief Dickson is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 251 Khaki) and CMC/COB School Class 24100. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne, California in 2017 and was selected for Command Master Chief in 2025.
Senior Chief Dickson’s personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6), as well as various unit and campaign awards.
