Graham is from Alexandria, Virginia, and is a fourth generation Surface Warfare Officer. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2008.
At Sea, he was the Strike Officer onboard USS RAMAGE (DDG 61). This was followed by a tour with RIVERINE SQUADRON ONE. His department head tours were as the Operations Officer on both USS ARLIEGH BURKE (DDG 51) and USS LEYTE GULF (CG 55). Graham has deployed five times around the world, most recently as the Commanding Officer of USS TORNADO (PC 14). While in command his crew earned the coveted Battle “E” award.
Ashore, Graham served as a Detailer at PERS 41, an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University, a Congressional Liaison for the Secretary of the Navy to the Congressional Appropriations Committees (FMBE), and most recently as a White House Fellow where he served under the Cabinet Secretary.
He is a United States Naval Institute member. He also served on the national board of the Surface Navy Association and is currently a Term Member on the Council on Foreign Relations. Graham holds a M.S. from the University of Arkansas and a M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
