Senior Chief Nicholas M. Lamb, a native of Monrovia, California, enlisted in the United States Navy on August 27, 2008. After completing basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Operations Specialist "A" School at Naval Training Center, Great Lakes.

Senior Chief Lamb has served across multiple sea duty assignments, including USS Paul Hamilton (DDG-60), homeported in Pearl Harbor, HI, as well as USS Mustin (DDG-89), USS John S. McCain (DDG-56), and COMDESRON 15 as the Destroyer Squadron Anti-Surface/Subsurface Tactical Air Controller (ASTAC) in Yokosuka, Japan. He also served aboard USS Oakland (LCS-24) homeported in San Diego, CA. His at-sea roles have encompassed Division Leading Petty Officer, Divisional and Departmental Leading Chief Petty Officer, Combat Information Center Watch Officer, Anti-Terrorism Watch Officer, Tactical Action Officer, Senior Enlisted Watchbill Coordinator, and Senior Enlisted Leader.

Throughout his career, Senior Chief Lamb has participated in numerous Third, Fifth, and Seventh Fleet Deployments, engaging in Maritime Interdiction Operations as a member of Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure teams. He has contributed to Hurricane Damayan and USS Guardian’s Humanitarian Assistance Disaster Relief missions, including experimental Unmanned Surface Vessel operations, and has participated in multiple South China Sea Freedom of Navigation transits.

Senior Chief Lamb holds qualifications as an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Expeditionary Warfare Specialist. He has qualified in roles such as Anti-Surface/Subsurface Tactical Air Controller, Combat Information Center Watch Officer, Anti-Terrorism Tactical Watch Officer, and Tactical Action Officer. His training team involvement includes active participation in the Combat Systems Training Team, Anti-Terrorism Training Team, Seamanship Training Team, and Medical Training Team.

His shore duty assignment was with Coastal Riverine Group One as part of the Training Evaluation Unit, where he served as lead instructor for the Embarked Security Combat Skills course, responsible for training and manning all West Coast Riverine Squadrons, including those in Guam.

In October 2024, he reported to Headquarters, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center, where he now serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader.

His academic achievements include an Associate's Degree in General Studies from American Military University.

Senior Chief Lamb’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), along with various unit and campaign awards.
