Commander Doyle, of Boca Raton, Florida, is a 2006 graduate of the Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and earned his commission through the Officer Candidate School, Newport R.I. in 2008.

Afloat, CDR Doyle served his first Division Officer tour as Strike Officer and First Lieutenant in USS COWPENS (CG 63) where he completed a deployment with the USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) Carrier Strike Group to the 7th Fleet Area of Responsibility. Subsequently, he served his second Division Officer tour as Executive Officer and Operations Officer in PC Crew FOXTROT, where he completed a deployment to the 5th Fleet Area of Responsibility in support of the Iraqi Oil Platform Defense and Sea Lines of Communication patrols for Commander, Task Force 55. As a Department Head he served as the Weapons Officer and Combat Systems Officer aboard USS STOCKDALE (DDG 106), where he led his departments through a dry dock maintenance period, Basic/Intermediate training cycle, deployment to 5th and 7th Fleet and INSURV. Immediately following his Department Head tours, he served as the Combat Systems Officer for Destroyer Squadron TWENTY-ONE. Most recently, CDR Doyle served as the Executive Officer for USS OMAHA (LCS 12), LCS CREW 208 (Blue Crew).

Ashore, CDR Doyle served on the Admiral’s Staff at the 5th Fleet Maritime Operations Center as a Fleet Watch Officer. He then served as Officer-In-Charge for the Maritime Pre-positioning Force assigned to Assault Craft Unit ONE. Post Department Head, he served as a Mariner Skills Week Senior Assessor for ATG San Diego.

CDR Doyle’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and multiple unit and service awards.
