Command Senior Chief Clark, a native of East Saint Louis, Il., enlisted in the Navy in May 2001 as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician. In 2001, he graduated AS “A” school and attend “C” school in San Diego, Ca.
His first duty station was USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) in Everett, Wa. There he completed three deployments and advanced to Petty Officer Second Class. In 2006, he transferred to shore duty AIMD Atsugi, Japan, where he spent the next three years. In 2009, he transferred to USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) homeported in Bremerton, Wa. Here he completed two back-to-back deployments and advanced to Petty Officer First Class.
In 2013, he transferred to CNATTU North Island San Diego, Ca. as a “C” school instructor teaching EPA, the mobile air conditioner pipeline, and support equipment maintenance manager course. He was selected to Chief Petty Officer in 2015. In 2016, he transferred back to USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) in Bremerton, Wa. Here he served as Safety Department Leading Chief Petty Officer and IM-4 Division Leading Chief Petty Officer. He was selected to Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2018 and took Stennis on its 2018 around-the-world deployment and homeport shift to Norfolk, Va.
In 2019, he transferred to Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) Southeast Detachment Mayport in Jacksonville, Fl. Here he served as 900 division Leading Chief Petty Officer, Quality Assurance Supervisor, and Maintenance Master Chief Petty Officer (MMCPO). In 2023, he transferred to USS NIMITZ in Bremerton, Wa. He served as 900 division Leading Chief Petty Officer, Training department Leading Chief Petty Officer, and AIMD Production Control Supervisor. In 2025, he was selected for the Command Senior Chief Program.
He is currently serving as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader of USS John L. Canley (ESB 6) Gold Crew forward deployed to the Third and Seventh Fleet AOR.
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Award, and various other unit citations and campaign ribbons.
