Following “A” School, Command Senior Chief Hope reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion FIVE (NMCB-5), where he deployed five times to the Fifth and Seventh Fleet areas of responsibility in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. He later served aboard USS STOCKDALE (DDG-106), completing his sixth deployment in support of anti-piracy operations off the Horn of Africa. He subsequently reported to USS CARL VINSON (CVN-70), deploying to the Seventh Fleet area of responsibility, where he served as Hotel Services Chief, Food Production Chief, and Food Service Manning Chief, and was selected to Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2020. He later served aboard USS RAFAEL PERALTA (DDG-115) as the Supply Department Leading Chief Petty Officer in support of Seventh Fleet operations and was selected for Command Senior Chief.
Ashore, Command Senior Chief Hope served at Naval Base San Diego, 32nd Street, California, as Galley Watch Captain at Mercer Hall Galley, and later as a Department Leading Chief Petty Officer at Naval Base Coronado, North Island, California. He also served as the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (N9) Department Leading Chief Petty Officer at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan.
Command Senior Chief Hope is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 258, Red) and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat School (Class 26010). He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus, Adelphi, Maryland, in 2025.
His personal awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals (2), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (6), and multiple unit and campaign awards.
